ANATOMY LESSON IN AN UNKNOWN LANGUAGE
ARTICULATION Noun – Latin: articulatio

1. The point where two bones connect to allow movement.
2. In something that consists of two or more parts, the way in which the parts are joined and able to move in relation to each other.
3. The formation of clear and distinct sounds in speech. (Cambridge Dictionary)

About the unknown language Barthes writes in L’empire des Signes: “A dream: to know a foreign language (strange) et yet not speak it (…) to undo our ‘reality’ under the effect of another structure, another syntax.”

Not naming my language, I assemble a certain number of polymorphous signs and with them form a deliberate system. EP

COURS D’ANATOMIE EN LANGUE INCONNUE
ARTICULATION Nom féminin – Latin : articulatio

EP
