Eléonore, alongside her own art practice, offers classes and workshops for private groups and organisations in the corporate or higher education sector. This, for her, is a continuation of her commitment as an artist.
This range of educational tools in the field of art, creativity, visual communication and self-development are gathered under the umbrella of Ways of Seeing®, which name is an hommage to the art critic and poet John Berger, a master in the transmission of the depth and complexity of art.
Underneath are examples of what Ways of Seeing® offers:

I love to create workshops and courses curriculum. Teaching is not a job I do to supplement my artist’s income, it’s something I choose to do and I put passion in creating the exercises for my different workshops. They have several functions: gaining fluency in the use of visual vocabulary and composition, getting better at one own’s artistic practice, but also deepening a personal exploration.
To work on a chosen theme through collage is a way to explore this subject with our “right brain”, we let the intuitive part of ourself speak by using a sensorial approach. I usually suggest one or two themes during a workshop. For example: “What inner resource do I need to support myself in my current life?”. Once some keywords are written, the process starts, the mind goes to rest, something else finds its way into form.
At the end of the workshop the participants explain to the group how their intuitive visual choices speak of their theme, it’s always incredibly coherent!
In the words of many participants, the experience is pacifying, even “healing”.
EP
Our corporate workshops are tailored to the need of our clients.
One company asked me to organise a group collage workshop on the theme of “Trust”, as a team building event to help people from different teams of the company get to know each other and work together better.
Doing a collage as a group is challenging, the individuals had to agree on a number of things without loosing their creative juice.
At the end, each group presented their collage, showing how they understood and expressed the notion of “Trust” through visual composition and symbols. The crucial part was that the participants talked together about what is Trust for them, the colour of Trust, its texture, its symbols, how it feels, etc., bathing in that wonderful quality during two hours.
The workshops organised for higher education schools or universities are created in dialogue with the school.
In 2018 for example I organised a workshop for a class of 30 students in 2nd year of l’INSEEC Business School. The direction asked me to think of a 3h workshop and I offered to work on the notion of Leadership. The focus of the workshop was the question: What makes a good leader? Once the students had found their answers in the form of key-words, they had to choose one and express it visually in the form of a collage. I had previously given them a short talk on visual communication.
At the end of the workshop, each student explained what their collage was representing. We had, in 3 hours, created 30 images representing 30 different qualities of good leadership! The school organised an exhibition of the artworks.
In 2016, King’s College London asked their midwife students to create an artistic work which would express the main point of their final year thesis. The university appointed me to explain to them my own artistic process and help them create their work. King’s College believes that the capacity to express oneself through art is an asset for the future relationships between the midwives and the women they will help.
